How to make it
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, fresh lime juice, grated ginger, and honey (or maple syrup) to create the marinade.
- Place the sea bass fillet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Ensure the fillet is well-coated with the marinade. Let it marinate for about 15-30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
- Remove the sea bass fillet from the marinade and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
- Optionally, brush any remaining marinade over the top of the sea bass fillet.
- Bake the sea bass in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is fully cooked and easily flakes with a fork.
- Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds over the baked sea bass for added texture and flavor.
- Optional: Garnish with sliced green onions for a fresh and vibrant touch.
