How to make it
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
- Pat dry the beef tenderloin steak with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
- Rub the beef tenderloin with olive oil, then sprinkle with rosemary, salt, and pepper. Ensure the steak is evenly coated with the seasonings.
- Heat a non-stick oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once the skillet is hot, sear the beef tenderloin steak on each side for about 1-2 minutes to get a nice brown crust.
- Optional: Add' butter to the skillet and let it melt, then baste the steak with the melted butter for added richness.
- Transfer the skillet with the seared beef tenderloin to the preheated oven.
- Roast the steak in the oven for approximately 5-7 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Once the beef tenderloin is cooked to your liking, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
- Optional: Drizzle any pan juices or melted butter from the skillet over the beef tenderloin for extra flavor.
