How to make it

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove any leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem, leaving the core intact. Rinse the cauliflower thoroughly.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the whole cauliflower on a baking sheet or in a baking dish.
  5. Rub the spice blend all over the cauliflower, ensuring it's evenly coated. You can also use your hands to pat the spices onto the cauliflower.
  6. Cover the cauliflower loosely with aluminum foil and bake it in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes.
  7. After the initial baking time, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender when pierced with a fork.
  8. Once the cauliflower is roasted and tender, remove it from the oven.
  9. Garnish the spicy roasted whole cauliflower with fresh cilantro or parsley for a burst of freshness.
  10. Serve the cauliflower with lime wedges on the side for a zesty touch.
