Salmon Teriyaki

How to make it
- In a small bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the teriyaki sauce.
- Pat the salmon fillet dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the salmon fillet in the skillet, skin side down, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy and the salmon easily releases from the pan.
- Flip the salmon and pour the teriyaki sauce over it.
- Cook for another 3-4 minutes, spooning the sauce over the salmon occasionally, until the salmon is cooked through and glazed with the sauce.
- While the salmon cooks, steam your choice of vegetables and prepare the brown rice.
- Optional: serve the teriyaki salmon over a bed of cooked brown rice and steamed vegetables.
- Drizzle any remaining teriyaki sauce from the pan over the salmon.
