How to make it
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond butter and honey (or maple syrup) until well mixed.
- Add rolled oats, protein powder, ground flaxseed, and a pinch of salt. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- If desired, add optional add-ins such as chocolate chips, dried fruits, or shredded coconut. Mix well.
- Use your hands to shape the mixture into small balls. If the mixture is too sticky, you can wet your hands slightly to make it easier to roll.
- Place the almond butter protein balls on a plate or tray lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate the protein balls for about 15-30 minutes to firm up.
- Once chilled, your almond butter protein balls are ready to enjoy!
- Store any leftover protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
